Biography

Ivan Garibay is an associate professor in the UCF Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems. His research interests include complexity sciences with focus on complex socio-technical-economic systems modeling and simulation. He obtained his doctorate in computer science from the University of Central Florida. Prior to joining the UCF College of Computer Science, Garibay served as the director of technology and innovation for the vice-president for Research. He is the director of the UCF Master of Science in Data Analytics program and director of the Complex Adaptive Systems Laboratory.
