The UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science has relationships with more than 150 industry partners. About 80 percent of engineering graduates have job-related experience in their chosen field before they graduate.
Orlando’s high-tech corridor has more than 4,200 companies. Adjacent to the main UCF campus, the Central Florida Research Park is home to some of the world’s top private research and development companies, including one of the nation’s largest hubs for the laser and electro-optical industry, and the modeling and simulation industry. UCF Research Park is also home to high tech research operations for the Army, Navy and Air Force. And UCF is a short drive to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
