The UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science has relationships with more than 150 industry partners. About 80 percent of engineering graduates have job-related experience in their chosen field before they graduate.
Orlando’s high-tech corridor has more than 4,200 companies. Adjacent to the main UCF campus, the Central Florida Research Park is home to some of the world’s top private research and development companies, including one of the nation’s largest hubs for the laser and electro-optical industry, and the modeling and simulation industry. UCF Research Park is also home to high tech research operations for the Army, Navy and Air Force. And UCF is a short drive to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

UCF Lockheed Martin College Work Experience Program
The UCF Lockheed Martin College Work Experience Program (CWEP) is an ideal opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to gain real-world work experience relevant to their academic and career goals while maintaining full-time enrollment at UCF. The program provides roughly 650 students with a year-round paid opportunity to explore a unique training experience on the cutting edge of technology. As of August 2017, 340 students are currently enrolled in the program.
