UCF-MSTAR Fellows Summer Kick-Off!

UCF-MSTAR have officially begun their summer internships! Our ten fellows started their internships at their respective NASA Centers across the country. Our students are spread around the country, including Johnson Space Center (Texas), Langley Research Center (Virginia), and Kenney Space Center (Florida).

NASA Johnson Space Center

Our fellow Chris is working at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Texas. Chris will focus on bone physiology in spaceflight. NASA Langley Research Center


NASA Langley Research Center

Our fellows Perla, Oneilia, and Jackson are working at the NASA Langley Research Center in Virginia. Perla and Oneilia will be working on materials development and characterization. Jackson will be working on  computational fluid dynamics to support the Entry, Descent, and Landing system.


NASA Kennedy Space Center

Our fellows Katrina, Andy, Bryce, Emma, Janice, and Andrew will be located at the NASA Kennedy Space Center. This team of students will be working on multiple projects from engineering concepts, physics problems, and biological studies. Some of the students will be working virtually and others on-site.  Katrina, Emma, and Bryce were able to  watch the Falcon 9 launch!
