Tim Smith’98, is the president of Wharton-Smith Inc., a large construction company based in Sanford, FL. Previously, he was executive vice president, responsible for the strategic growth of the company’s Charlotte regional office, as well as corporate responsibilities including support for both commercial and water/wastewater operations, heavy equipment, quality control, production, and management information systems. He has more than 30 years of professional experience, is a Professional Engineer, a Florida State Registered General Contractor, and is licensed in plumbing and pollutant storage systems. Tim has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Auburn University, and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
