Welcome to the UrbanITY Lab at the University of Central Florida. We are the Urban Intelligence & Smart City Laboratory, a research group in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering (CECE). Directed by Dr. Shaurya Agarwal, our work sits at the intersection of transportation engineering, data science, and cyber-physical systems. We focus on making transportation safer, more efficient, and better connected — through smart cities, connected and autonomous vehicles, and intelligent infrastructure.
