With a background in computational science and engineering (Ph.D., Purdue University, 2019) and experience as a Research Assistant Professor at Purdue University and North Carolina State University, Dr. Hasti brings a unique blend of technical expertise and innovation leadership to the field.


Focus Areas:

Advanced decarbonization strategies and resilient energy infrastructures through scientific machine learning.

Developed adaptive digital twins integrating AI models (LLMs, generative AI, multimodal learning).

AI-based physics modeling techniques for real-time simulation and control of complex systems.
