George Gilhooley, P.E., leads HNTB Corporation’s East Florida Region Office, which provides engineering services for the 27-county area bounded by Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Districts 2 and 5. He is responsible for ensuring that HNTB provides quality work that is on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.
George has served as HNTB’s principal-in-charge, senior advisor, or project manager for a number of major transportation projects. Some of those projects include: South Terminal C at Orlando International Airport, High Speed Rail from Miami to Orlando, general engineering consultant for the Florida Turnpike and FDOT District 5, the Epcot Center Drive Interchange, the Osceola Interchange, Buena Vista Drive, FDOT District 5 Regional Traffic Management Center Operations, FDOT District 5 Districtwide Traffic Operations, Wekiva Parkway, and the widening of I-95 in Brevard and Volusia Counties.
