Biography

Sumanta Pattanaik is an associate professor of computer science at the University of Central Florida. His research focuses on computer graphics, including realistic and real-time rendering, material modeling, high dynamic range imaging, and medical volume visualization. He has held research and academic positions at institutions in the United States, Europe, and India, and has contributed to the development of advanced rendering techniques and visualization tools.
