Biography

Sonali Das is a lecturer in the UCF Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. She holds a doctoral degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology. Her research focuses on device electronics, RF and microwave technologies, MEMS and RF MEMS, solar cells and phototransistors, optoelectronic synaptic and neuromorphic devices, as well as emerging micro- and nano-fabrication technologies. She has contributed as a technical reviewer for the UCF Seed Funding Program and has been actively involved in educational outreach as an instructor and mentor for Camp Connect programs. Das is a member of IEEE and has received several honors, including the GAP award from the UCF Research Foundation and Office of Technology Transfer in 2019, and the Fulbright Bhaskara Advanced Solar Energy Fellowship in 2015.
