Biography
Qian "Ken" Lou is an assistant professor at the UCF Departmet of Computer Science and a member of the UCF Cyber Security and Privacy Cluster. Before coming to UCF, Lou was a senior research scientist at the Samsung Research AI center. He obtained his master's and doctoral degrees from Indiana University Bloomington in 2019 and 2021, respectively. Lou won the Luddy Outstanding Research Award and a best paper nomination at the prestigious ACM PACT conference. His research interests include deep learning, e.g., CV and NLP model compression, privacy-preserving/secure machine learning, and computer architecture, e.g., hardware accelerators.
