Biography

Mengxin Zheng is an assistant professor of computer science at the University of Central Florida. Her research focuses on machine learning security and cybersecurity, with particular interest in backdoor attacks and defenses, AI data privacy protection, and the robustness of large language models.

Zheng earned a doctorate in computer engineering from Indiana University Bloomington in 2023. She has served on program committees for conferences and journals in her field.

Her work has been recognized with several awards, including a Young Fellow designation and a best student paper award
