Biography

Lei Wei is an associate professor in the UCF Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He earned his doctoral degree in electrical engineering from the University of South Australia in 1996. His research focuses on biologically inspired signal processing, modulation and error control coding, wireless communications, and homeland security applications, particularly campus emergency alert systems.
