Biography

David Mohaisen is a professor of computer science at the University of Central Florida, with joint appointments in computer engineering and modeling and simulation. He directs the Security and Analytics Lab, where his research focuses on cybersecurity, privacy, machine learning, blockchain systems, and the security of AI and networked systems.


Before joining UCF, Mohaisen held academic and research positions at institutions including the University at Buffalo and Verisign Labs. He has also served in visiting roles with organizations such as the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory and the Georgia Institute of Technology.


Mohaisen is active in his professional community through service on program committees and editorial boards. His work has earned recognition for research excellence, teaching, and service.
