A Powerful Library for Modeling in Dymola
CRAFTS is a Dymola-based library used to model and simulate offshore structures such as wind turbines. Powered by the Modelica language, CRAFTS leverages acausal modeling to unify aero-, hydro-, and structural dynamics with control feedback.

What Is CRAFTS Capable of?

Control Co-Design:
The modularity of CRAFTS models allows control algorithms to be developed in parallel with system models.
Rapid Simulation:
Models can be quickly reconfigured and re-simulated for iterative design or parametric studies. Model complexity can be customized to favor computational efficiency vs accuracy.

Reconfigurable Systems:
Due to the object-oriented nature of CRAFTS models, components can easily be added, removed, swapped, or reorganized to customize the overall system.
Why CRAFTS?
CRAFTS combines the intuitive flexibility of block diagram modeling with a powerful set of tools for simulation and postprocessing.
User-Friendly Interface
The block diagram layout makes it easy to edit models with a drag-and-drop approach while maintaining full access to the underlying Modelica implementation.

Ready-to-Use Models
Prebuilt experiments and benchmark cases are initialized for simulation and provide examples of systems that can be built using CRAFTS.
Additional Tools
Applications for data generation and regression testing accompany the CRAFTS library, providing advanced functionality and automation.
