This Saturday’s Spring 2020 Commencement Ceremony honoring the graduates of the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science will be live-streamed at 3:45 p.m., as part of the university’s virtual commencement ceremonies.

Each of the university’s 13 colleges will recognize graduates by hosting individual ceremonies on the university’s main Facebook and YouTube pages on Saturday, August 1, where the names of every graduate from each college will be read aloud. All of the sessions will be archived on YouTube afterward.

UCF’s commencement speaker is George A. Kalogridis ’76, president of segment development and enrichment for Disney Parks Experiences and Products.

A number of ways to celebrate virtually – including social media digital swag and a graduation Cap contest – are available from the university. See the UCF Today story “Ways to Celebrate the Class of 2020 Virtually” to see all the links and information available from the university, including a downloadable keepsake PDF that shows the names of the Summer 2020 CECS Graduating Class.

College-Level Celebration

With approximately 350 graduates in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, summer 2020 marks an extraordinary semester of education that was conducted in a virtual education paradigm.

The college will confer nearly 100 doctoral and master’s degrees, and approximately 250  bachelor’s degrees, in its Summer 2020 commencement ceremony.

Wishes of congratulations have been recorded by the college’s deans and department chairs. See a recorded message from Dean Michael Georgiopoulos, Ph.D.
