Exclusive access inside the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science for prospective students and families.

Please join us Saturday, February 8, 2025 to learn more about your future college home.

On behalf of Dean Michael Georgiopoulos and the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science family, you are cordially invited to attend a special day planned exclusively for prospective students and their families. Our 2025 Showcase will give you an up-close-and-personal experience with our students, faculty and staff.

  • Hear from your peers: student leaders, scholars, innovators, national champions
  • Meet your faculty and discover what they do to make UCF an extraordinary place
  • Discover our seven academic departments and learn more about your engineering or computer science major
  • Mingle with your future employers: UCF’s industry partners, entrepreneurs and technology game-changers
  • See what’s innovating in our Maker Space lab complex

We’re confident you will learn why our students and alumni proudly call themselves UCF Knights and why so many companies seek out our talented students for internships, innovative design projects and jobs. We can’t wait to meet you!

There’s a reason why we’ve achieved these rankings. It’s because we have so many shining stars in our college who dream big, work hard and continually strive to unleash their potential while inspiring others. They are standouts like last year’s panelists: mechanical engineering student Jason Gay, civil engineering senior and President of ASCE Sarah Rendell, and mechanical engineering senior and Member Order of Pegasus Marianna Sorroza.

UCF has created a space for me as a Mechanical Engineering student where I can experience the fullness of college without missing out on a world-class education. The diverse school of thoughts and experiences creates a melting pot of ideas and perspectives that have made life and learning all the more enriching!

Jason Gay, 2025 panelist, Mechanical Engineering

I have grown in many different ways over my years at UCF. I have developed academically through EXCEL, SARC, SI, and just by talking to my professors in office hours. The staff and faculty in every division have been an integral part of my academic successes. I have also found many impactful professional development and leadership opportunities through organizations on campus such as ASCE UCF.

Marianna Sorroza

While at UCF, I have been blessed with the opportunity to follow my passions and learn how I can combine them to serve others to my fullest potential. I have also met lifetime friends and gained memories that I will always happily carry with me. I feel proud to be a Knight due to our inclusive and diverse community that helps every individual thrive and be prepared to serve others.
