Jing LiuJing is an Associate Director at Global Transitions in Pratt and Whitney Operations, leading high-performance teams for global supply chain qualifications on all military and commercial aircraft engine programs. In supporting new engine incorporations and strategic initiatives, she leads vital areas of the execution and routinely interacts with Senior leaderships at Pratt, its major OEM Airframer and global suppliers for planning and executions. She initiates and leads areas of critical importance for transitions execution related to both quality and manufacturing engineering support and drives alignment and integration of multi-functional teams and all stakeholders for streamline processes. She is a pioneer for in-country deployment for efficient US and international Transition Project/Program. She emphasizes people development and has been coaching her and cross-functional teams with guidance and support. As a results, her team has been one of the best performing team in the company and several people got promoted. She has been nominated several times for Leadership Awards at Pratt.

Last year, she was honored to be selected as the only 30th Hall of Fame Inductee among hundreds of 2022 MBA Graduates in University of Connecticut due to her outstanding academic achievement and leaderships in the program. Moreover, as the captain of her negotiation team, her team won the Champaign in University of Connecticut Business and Law Negotiation Competition.

As an engineering manager at Oerlikon Metco prior to Pratt, she worked closely with legal, marketing, sourcing, operations and finance teams for patent generations, new technology developments, new product development, launch and production for various materials and applications.

Throughout her career after graduation from UCF, she has been nominated and selected for several prestigious awards, such as Eagle and Special Awards at Pratt and Leadership Coins at West Point.

Jing has been active in community contributions. Over the years, she has volunteered Food Drive; Move with Urban League Festival; Veteran Library; Hartford schools STEM event; Society of Women Engineers, etc.

Jing is passionate about what she does and is willing to take new challenges and share her valuable experiences and leadership with others.
