Dayana Cope is a General Manager of Operations Decision Science, responsible for leading the talent and strategy for the science that drives the next generations of tools for decision-making at Delta. Dayana excels at defining and executing analytics strategy and building organizations that are customer and client centric.

Dayana is an analytics expert and leader with over 20 years of experience evangelizing analytics in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, entertainment, aerospace and transportation. Prior to Delta, Dayana founded Primaris Consulting, a minority, women-owned small business providing technical consulting services to commercial and government organizations. She also served as the Director of the Simulation and Analytics practice at Engineering USA, where she was responsible for a multimillion-dollar digital transformation client engagement supporting the NAVY shipyards and aircraft depots. Before Engineering USA, she served as a Senior Manager at Disney where she led a team of data science professionals responsible for solving the most challenging analytical business problems at Disney with a focus on the Guest experience and operational efficiency. She served on the advisory board for the University of Central Florida from 2015 until 2021.

Dayana holds a PhD, MS and BS in Industrial Engineering from The University of Central Florida. In her free time, Dayana enjoys travelling and enjoying the international foodie scene with her husband and three daughters.
