Austin Flynn, born and raised in Orlando, Florida, earned his Industrial Engineering degree from UCF in May of 2023. He is also is a triplet with two brothers. Currently, Austin works as an Operations Management Trainee at L’Oréal in a rotational program working in supply chain management and analytics for North American markets. Throughout his time at UCF, he had the opportunity to intern with various companies such as Universal Orlando Resort and L’Oréal, in addition to being a finalist with his senior design team conducting preliminary research and developing ground processing operations for the United States Space Force’s Rocket Cargo Vanguard Program.
While earning accolades academically from Alpha Pi Mu and NSLS his involvement with UCF didn’t stop there as he led the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers intramural volleyball team, as captain, to two back-to-back championships. Austin’s next steps are to be heavily involved in the alumni mentorship program to help fellow Knights navigate their classes, professional development, and involvement while at UCF.
