Campus resource information at the University of Central Florida is currently stored across multiple departments and systems, which makes it difficult for students, visitors, and staff to easily locate important services. Our project addresses this challenge by supporting UCF IT in developing a centralized and standardized data structure that organizes campus resource information for future mapping applications. The project creates a unified repository that integrates datasets such as accessibility features, student services, dining locations, and campus facilities. By standardizing data fields and categories, the system allows departments to maintain consistent information while enabling the campus map to display accurate and up to date resources. Primary users include students, visitors, faculty, and university departments that manage campus information. The system works by collecting resource data from multiple stakeholders and organizing it into a structured database that can be integrated with existing mapping tools. This approach improves visibility of campus resources, simplifies future updates, and supports better wayfinding across campus. The framework also allows UCF to scale the system over time as additional resources and data sources are added.Team
