Many homes with pools use separate systems for air conditioning and pool heating, which can be expensive, take up space, and operate inefficiently. Our project solves this by combining both functions into a single, dual-purpose system that can do both. This system is ideal for homeowners, landlords, and energy-conscious builders looking to reduce equipment costs, installation time, and energy consumption. The system uses a heat pump cycle to transfer heat where it’s needed, either removing it from the house or sending it into the pool. We also built our own custom water heat exchanger from copper piping and PVC piping to handle pool heating efficiently. Our design is more cost-effective, compact, and energy-conscious than traditional setups, with fewer moving parts and greater long-term reliability. It’s a practical solution for homes with pools where efficiency and simplicity are both high priorities.Team
