CogniChat addresses the critical lack of professional, adult-oriented digital tools for cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation, as existing therapeutic applications are often rigid or feature overstimulating, child-focused interfaces. Developed for iOS tablets, our platform provides a dual-role ecosystem where patients with neurological impairments—such as stroke or traumatic brain injury—engage in exercises to support domains like memory and reasoning, while therapists use a clinical dashboard to monitor progress and assign custom content. The app uses a rules-based personalization algorithm with a smoothed moving average to dynamically adapt question difficulty based on patient performance. Built with React Native and a secure PostgreSQL/Supabase backend, CogniChat ensures high accessibility via WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and maintains security through encryption and role-based access control. By bridging the gap between clinical expertise and at-home practice, CogniChat empowers patients to regain independence and communication skills, fostering measurable progress and significantly improving long-term recovery outcomes for society.Team
