June 11, 2020 — Sudipta Seal, chair of the UCF Department of Materials Science and Engineering, has been named a fellow of the American Ceramic Society.
April 21, 2020 — Mubarak Shah was named an AI 2020 most influential scholar for his “outstanding technical achievements with lasting contribution and impact.” This recognizes Dr. Shah as being one of the top 10 most-cited scholars in the top venues for computer vision.
March 27, 2020 — Dazhong Wu, assistant professor, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, received the 2019 Best Paper Award from the Journal of Manufacturing Systems.
