WebCT is an integrated set of web course tools that can be used to supplement a class taught mostly face-to-face or one delivered entirely online. WebCT was originally created by professors at the University of British Columbia and now belongs to a private company called WebCT Inc., which has offices in Massachusetts and British Columbia. WebCT is the primary web-based course management system supported by the University of Central Florida, Course Development. The College of Engineering and Computer Science WebCT is supported by the AIMLAB (Alternate Instruction Methods Lab).
