Welcome to the Lab of Solid and Structure Mechanics (LSSM) at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) of the University of Central Florida (UCF), Orlando, Florida. The Lab was established at UCF since 2011. The current research focuses are plasticity and ductile fracture of materials (i.e. metals, sheets, fibers, concretes, and composites), and hyperelasticity of soft tissues.
