Join us as we elect new officers for the 2018-2019 school year. This is a great time to come out and impact the future of IEEE at UCF. If you are interested, please sign up below. The positions available are Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
Officer Requirements:
Positions require a UCF GPA of 2.5 by the University and a 6 credit hour minimum during Fall and Spring semesters.
Chair:
The chair functions as the leader and face of IEEE at UCF. He or she will plan general body meetings, delegate tasks to other officers, and ensure all aspects of the branch run smoothly.
Vice Chair:
Helps Chair in administering all of the branch’s operations. Responsible for overseeing Project Chairs, Workshop Chair, and the Hardware Team Captain.
Secretary:
Record keeper and historian of the student branch. Responsibilities include taking detailed minutes of meetings, making a calendar of events, and ensuring that the Branch Constitution and Bylaws are adhered to. The Secretary Assistant will also oversee the Communications Chair, Marketing Chair, and the Webmaster.
Treasurer:
Keeps track of the chapter’s transactions and helps the Chair in organizing the trip to the IEEE SoutheastCon Conference in the Spring semester. This officer will oversee the Industry, Volunteering, and Events chairs.
