Wharton Smith Group Scholarship Scholarship Requirements Preference will be given to the applicant enrolled in the construction engineering program.
Applicants must submit a one-page letter stating why they want to be in construction engineering and a letter of reference from one faculty member. Recipient must be enrolled as a full-time sophomore, junior or senior student at the University in the College of Engineering and Computer Science. Student must have a 2.7 or higher GPA. Preference will be given to applicants demonstrating involvement in clubs, leadership positions held, community service, etc. Must submit an activities summary. This scholarship may be awarded to the same student in successive semesters until graduation provided funds are available and the recipient maintains at least a 2.7 grade point average.
