• Applicant must be enrolled at the University as a full-time undergraduate student majoring in Civil Engineering .


• Applicant must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.


• Preference will be given to students involved in leadership and/or student organization activities.

Full time Civil Engineering undergraduate student with emphasis on structural engineering

Minimum GPA of 2.75

Active involvement in American Society of Civil Engineers activities on campus preferred

 

Full time junior or senior student in Civil Engineering

Must have a minimum 2.7 GPA

Must be a Florida resident

Limited to two years for consecutive award

Academic achievement and community service

Must submit one letter of recommendation from a faculty member or Florida Professional Engineer

 

Full time junior or senior female student

GPA 3.0 or above

Civil engineering major, prefer student with expressed interest in structural engineering

Statement of financial need and one page resume

A written statement of career objectives

 

Full or part time junior or senior majoring in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Must have 2.8 or higher GPA

Submit an activities summary; Preference will be given to students with a structural emphasis

Must submit a resume and one faculty letter of recommendation

 

Full-time senior majoring in Civil Engineering

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Submit a one page essay on a historical engineering project

Full time undergraduate student majoring in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA

Must demonstrate involvement in clubs, organizations, or community service

Must submit a resume and one letter of recommendation from an Engineering faculty member

Preference will be given to FWEA members

Full time undergraduate or graduate student in Civil or Environmental engineering

Must have 2.5 or higher GPA

Demonstrate involvement in the student chapter of ASCE or FES

Must submit one letter of recommendation from a faculty member

Must show financial need

Full time undergraduate student in Civil Engineering

Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA

Must show financial need based on FAFSA

Must be a US citizen

Preference will be given to female students

The applicant must submit the following:

1. An essay demonstrating community service and/or volunteering of 20 hours per year


2. Faculty letter of recommendation


3. Resume showing participation in an internship or co-op

Scholarship is renewable up to 4 semesters for the same student.

Full time junior or senior student in Civil or Construction Engineering

Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA

Must be a Florida resident

Limited to two years for consecutive award

Full or part time undergraduate in Construction Engineering

Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA

Graduated from a public or private high school in Orange or Seminole County

Academic achievement and community service

Resume; Prefer employment in construction industry (ABC member)

Full time undergraduate or graduate student in Environmental Engineering preferably with an interest in solid waste

Submit a Future Goals Statement outlining your interest in Environmental Engineering; preferably solid waste

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Demonstrated involvement in clubs, leadership positions, community service, etc.

One letter of reference from engineering faculty

Undergraduate Civil, Construction, or Environmental Engineering major (must be out of pending)

Full time sophomore, junior, or senior in Construction engineering

Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA

Submit career statement outlining aspirations for pursuing a career in building construction

Submit a future goals statement expressing your interest in pursuing a career in water resources, water reuse, water supply treatment or desalination

Faculty letter of recommendation

 

Preference will be given to the applicant enrolled in the construction engineering program.

Applicants must submit a one-page letter stating why they want to be in construction engineering and a letter of reference from one faculty member.

Recipient must be enrolled as a full-time sophomore, junior or senior student at the University in the College of Engineering and Computer Science.

Student must have a 2.7 or higher GPA.

Preference will be given to applicants demonstrating involvement in clubs, leadership positions held, community service, etc. Must submit an activities summary.

This scholarship may be awarded to the same student in successive semesters until graduation provided funds are available and the recipient maintains at least a 2.7 grade point average. The student must reapply according to College policy each year.
