Distance Learning

Many of the classes in the College are offered online. You have a variety of ways to take classes online including: Tegrity, WebCT/Webcourses, and FEEDS.

Tegrity is the recording and distribution software used to deliver lectures online. The system is now being used for FEEDS and as an enhancement to many face-to-face courses.

WebCT & Webcourses are the Course Management System (CMS) that UCF uses to organize all of the educational content provided for each course. They serves as an interface between the student and the instructor, as well as, a portal to a course.

The Center for Online and Virtual Education (COVE) manages Tegrity, WebCT & Webcourses@UCF, and FEEDS for the College, while their mission is to provide training and support for faculty and students accessing lectures and course materials online.

Please visit the COVE website to view lectures, receive training, and for assistance in these areas.
