Academics
The College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) offers many different programs for its students. CECS offers 10 undergraduate programs, 14 master degree programs, and 9 doctoral degree programs.
The Undergraduate Catalog and Graduate Catalog are the official source of degree requirements for all undergraduate and graduate programs based upon the year you are accepted to UCF.
Please find a brief description below of all of our programs combined: bachelor, master, and doctorate programs.
CECS Programs:
Students will gain knowledge of aerodynamics, stability and control, orbital mechanics and launch processing. Bachelor and master programs available.
For students with an interest in structural, water resources, construction engineering, transportation and geotechnical engineering. Bachelor, master, and doctorate programs available.
The program educates students on the research, design, development and testing of computer hardware and software systems that control computers. Bachelor, master, and doctoral programs available.
For students with an interest in the understanding and design of computations (software) and efficient methods for constructing and running computations (including computer hardware and communication systems), either to gain fundamental insights or to solve complex computational problems that extend human capacities.
Bachelor, master, and doctorate programs available.
The program involves planning and execution of the designs from transportation, site development, hydraulic, environmental, structural and geotechnical engineers. Bachelor program available.
The program utilizes science and technology to find digital evidence within computers and other types of digital media to determine if they have been used for illegal or unauthorized activities or if they are the “victims” of such attacks. Master program only available.
Students address the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment to include motors, controls, radar and navigation systems, power generating and transmission devices. Bachelor, master, and doctorate programs available.
Environmental engineers design municipal water supply and industrial wastewater treatment systems as well as study the environmental impact of proposed construction projects. Bachelor, master, and doctorate programs available.
Students learn the most effective ways to use people, machines, materials, information and energy to increase productivity. Bachelor, master, and doctorate programs available.
The program integrates technical with general education requirements and electives to prepare students for a career in computing and information sciences fields. Bachelor program available.
Considered by some to be the marriage of physics and metallurgy, this discipline is the study of structure processing properties relationships for a broad range of materials, from metals and ceramics to electronic, biological, and nanomaterials. Masters and doctoral degree programs are available.
The program produces quality professionals and leaders with specializations in mechanical systems, materials, and energy systems. Bachelor, master, and doctorate programs available.
